Learn how to create a glass object

At Glint Studio, Sinead Brenan will introduce you to the fascinating world of glass. All materials are included and the studio has a selection of glass in a rainbow of colours. Participants are guided through the process of designing their own cocktail glass and stirrer. Working with recycled components, you will learn how to cut glass on a diamond saw, smooth and grind glass, and finally to polish it. You will also learn techniques to give your glass some extra sparkle by applying different designs to the surface using the engraving lathes and diamond hand engravers. To finish, the group will enjoy some well-earned cocktails and nibbles.
