The experienced leatherworker Jakub Jarolím opens his atelier for anyone wanting to learn the basics of this craft by making a belt. If that is your wish, all you need is motivation and two hands. Before getting to work, Jakub takes you through theory, discussing the kinds of leather, its use and its treatment. After that, you'll dive into the practice:cutting the leather, burnishing the edges, punching the holes, installing the buckle. Before you know it, a brand new custom-made belt will lie in your hands. You can put it on right away and take a walk throughout the charming Žižkov district where the studio is located.
