Paint your own miniature box

In this exciting masterclass you will be using the same brushes, paints and tools that the Fedoskino artisans use to create their masterpieces. You will learn some of the traditional techniques of painting that have sustained the reputation of Fedoskino's lacquered miniatures through more than 200 years of production, and paint one of the very same papier maché boxes that you see in the factory shop. You will copy a quite simple Fedoskino motif, so no special training is required. The size of the box is 60 mm in diameter and 35 mm in height.
