Learn to create a glass object
2.5 hours 2-3 people90 euros per personGlass is a contradictory material: glass objects look clear, lustrous and fragile, but it's a long and technically very complicated process to make them. Under the guidance of glass artist Ilze Dūdiņa, visitors to her workshop can discover the secrets of glassmaking. In this masterclass, you will make a glass design object or a functional item such as a plate, and learn about different techniques of the craft. Your work will be ready to collect three days after the class, when it has gone through all the stages of this complex process. This masterclass must be organised in advance by contacting Ilze Dūdiņa or the Glass Art and Studies Centre.
