An immersive glimpse behind the scenes of a classic Italian furniture brand

Savio Firmino is one of the few Italian manufacturers of luxury furniture that, in spite of their transformation from small artisanal workshop to proper brand, is still handcrafting most of their creations. The spirit of the founder – Firmino Savio, the talented woodcarver who opened a small atelier in the Florentine neighbourhood of Santo Spirito in 1941 – is still alive in the philosophy of the brand, managed today by Firmino’s heirs. The guided tour offers visitors an immersive experience in the workshops of the company, and allows them to learn about the whole process of creation, with a focus on the techniques to work and finish wood.
