In the Basque Country, Don Quichosse manufactures its espadrilles according to the purest tradition, inspired by ancient models as well as today’s fashion. Their atelier which is also a shop, is a lively place where the Don Quichosse team are happy to share with you their passion, their love for a job well done, using machines that are more than a century old. Nothing has changed for the sake of not losing or distorting the original product, the 425, the entirely hand sewn espadrille. The patronage is the same used by the first generations, the tightly ducked canvas, the thick sole and the natural rubber all give the iconic espadrille its unique fit.
