Learn how to work with clay

This course takes place in the studio with a weekly two-hour session for a one month period. In an intimate atmosphere of a small group, the focus is on working with clay, using mostly hands and basic tools. In the first half of the course, you will concentrate on hand building techniques from fine stoneware materials. The aim is to develop your own idea and work on your very own project under professional guidance. In the second half of the course, you will learn how to retouch dry pieces, and about colouring and glazing ceramic techniques. At the end, each participant will leave with an original ceramic piece and new knowledge about the whole ceramic process.
