Sycamore Vessel

This turned sycamore wood bowl was carefully inlaid with a single spiral of silver dots and coloured in burgundy with water-based wood dyes. The pale colour of sycamore wood acts as an excellent canvas for colouring. The vessel was finished with Danish oil, which gives it a gentle sheen.
