This cushion cover was made on a manual loom with using the ‘a pibiones’ technique. The design is inspired by iconic elements of Sardinian culture, using the ironic and playful use of shapes and colour, it explores the theme of myrtle plants, flanked by small goats. The frame surrounding them is typical Sardinian saddlebag weaving, with the initials of the makers in the four corners.
