Robe de nuit d’Albertine is handcrafted from various layers of superimposed veils following Marcel Proust's description in The Prisoner. Proust ordered this nightgown, a symbol of love, for his Albertine. The dress is handcrafted from azure blue coloured paper decorated with silver and gold birds on the exterior, and crimson red on the inside.
