This four-part work is made with porcelain, and his unique silver mist surface finish. Red Mist is part of Takahiro Kondo’s series Coloured Mist, comprising works in all five colours of the spectrum. The series was created in response to the Covid-19 pandemic; the changes in colour signify the mutations of the virus. However, at the same time, the colours form a rainbow, a sign of hope for a brighter future.
