This porcelain vessel is handmade using Hanna’s personal technique of openwork casting from porcelain slip coloured in different shades of metal oxides. The base of the piece was created using plaster moulds and finalised by hand, before firing in an electric kiln at 1250 °C. Hanna’s technique results in a visually airy and weightless sculpture.
