Palmalisa Zantedeschi

Palmalisa Zantedeschi SRL was founded in 1989 in Cavaion Veronese, a commune in the province of Verona, at the heart of Veronese marble. Palmalisa was born into a family of four generations of stonemasons and sculptors, and his company draws on the history of the previous family business in stonemasonry as well as a general experience of marble work in the region gained over centuries, now instilled in the region’s DNA. As the company has grown, so has its client base, creating made-to-measure projects in Italy and abroad.

Stone projects undertaken by Palmalisa Zantedeschi start in the quarries, from the study of the extracted materials and their mineral variations. The stones extracted have formed over millions of years and are shaped by multiple mineral combinations, giving each piece of stone a unique characteristic. The chosen blocks are transformed using age-old techniques and adapted technologies that have been passed down over generations. These are crafts that have been passed down over centuries and are innately part of the master craftsman. Each stone is unique, and the master craftsman has to interpret it as such, continuously observing it and its characteristics.
