The illustrations painted on 100% cotton satin paper are inspired by Akiko Yosano’s tanka poems. Sonia Maria Luce’s watercolours evocatively convey Yosano’s light and sensual poetry, whcih talks about the enchanting and dreamlike landscapes of Japan.
