These ten masks – made on a base of felt and decorated with material varying from leather to porcupine quills – form part of a set but also stand alone, representing potential identities. They can exist as a sculpture or be worn. The different elements are like anecdotes: they write a story about an individual but only fully exist when they’re being watched or worn, at which point a dialogue exists with a space or a person.
