Julien Lagueste

French woodworker Julien Lagueste grew up near the sea in La Trinité-Sur-Mer, a French city on the Atlantic coast, and spent most of his summers on paradisiacal islands. Years later, these childhood memories inspired him to create a collection of tables, Souvenirs des îles, resembling weather-worn seaside stones and layers of blue in a tranquil lagoon. Julien combines wood and resin to bring the deep blue hues and serenity of the sea into a living space. After graduating in interior design, he moved to Nantes and opened up his workshop studio in 2016, where he creates his nature-inspired pieces combining wood and resin.
