La Conca by Luigi Cavalli

Luigi Cavalli, a sensitive and cultured businessman, great traveller and tireless “self-made man”, started running the family company IPE with success in 1977. Eclectic figure with both managing and artistic skills, Luigi Cavalli boasts a big travel experience as Export Manager since a young age, getting deep knowledge of the European markets, as well as of the emerging ones. Thanks to his artistic sensibility, he maintains relationships with designers, gaining experience in furniture product engineering.

In 2000, he totally transformed the direction of IPE, by creating the brand Visionnaire, with his children Leopoldo and Eleonore. With Visionnaire, he moved away from manufacturing upholstered items to furnishing global styles in the luxury market segment. In 2000 and 2004, he was appointed as the Chairman of the upholstered product branch for Assarredo. From 2004 up to 2008 he was appointed as the Chairman of CEN 207 (European Centre of furniture Regulation).
