Esmé based this brown willow handbag on a 200-year-old woven basket design. She developed the model for a fashion show in 2015. As much in its design as in its purpose, the bag is characteristic of Esme’s desire to push past the conventional limits associated with basket weaving to achieve greater creative freedom.
