Big Line is inspired by graffiti and calligraphy: a playful act of movement and balance. This kiln cast glass sculpture was made using the lost wax technique. After being moulded in wax, it was cast in a warm resistant plaster material, from which the max model is melted out. Lumps of glass are placed in the reservoir and fired in a ceramic kiln for a week. When cold, the mould is removed and the glass is grinded, polished and sandblasted.
