Part of Project A Collection, this sculpture is arranged individually to resemble the lotus flower’s cup-shape. It is a centrepiece sculpture featuring a range of green and bone china coloured glass canes. Hollow and solid inside, these hot sculpted canes seem to move and bend in the wind. The cane ends are grounded in a wooden, rectangular vessel filled with resin.

Part of the Phoenix Series Collection, these three single crystal- and blue-coloured crushed pieces of glass set up a new scenery, depicting leaves, striving towards heaven. Sandra shaped them by hand after the glass had been heated up to 800°C in the kiln. The sculpture’s crystalline structure is sparkling and shining bright when touched by rays of sunlight.

Flame 5 is one of 8 individually shaped, mouth-blown glass sculptures in a fiery pallet ranging from yellow to purple. The idea that every person carries a unique talent inside inspired the design. Sandra used crafted murrines to realize a harmonic, soft colour gradiant, using murrine like a painter uses his colour palette.

Sandra created the disc-shaped, fused glass sculpture using crafted murrine rods that change size and pattern within one single pulling process. After cutting the rods into small pieces and fusing them, Serenella got ground and polished on the front side. Sandra chose the colour shades, ranging from orange to purple, inspired by the many sunrises she saw on her way to the furnace.
