Reuge is a leader in the art of mechanical music and singing birds and the only luxury music automatons manufacturer in the world mixing age-old expertise with new technologies. Founded in 1865 in Sainte-Croix by Charles Reuge as a music pocket watch shop, it immediately evolved into a small family workshop and then into a proper manufacturer in 1930, thanks to the business acumen of Guido Reuge who guided the company for more than 60 years.

In the digital era, Reuge’s ambitious challenge is to put the music box back into the spotlight. They offer luxurious musical gifts, which stand out for their infinite wealth of tunes, precision and finely finished parts. Musical movements are still manufactured today in accordance with an art dating back centuries and a Reuge music automaton takes at least three months to be produced, during which the craftspeople breathe life and soul into their creations, preserving the magic of mechanical music.
