The Forest Lamp is made of sweet chestnut. The seven stems are cleaved out from carefully selected logs, and shaped by hand in Peter’s workshop using traditional tools and techniques. This delicate process allows the wood to follow its own grain, and speak from its heart. The shades are made from natural wood veneers, which are bonded onto cloth to give them the necessary strength.

The tactile edges of this desk, combined with the hand-split and shaved legs make for a stunning sculptural yet practical piece of furniture. Dovetail drawer details, gentle curves, and domed legs which are set right on the corner of the piece add to the unique qualities of this brown oak and ash desk. It is handmade from locally and sustainably sourced native brown oak, coppiced ash, with ripple ash aprons and drawer front and finished with a blend of natural oils for a satin finish.

An elegant, light, yet supremely comfortable chair using the properties of steam bent ash and willow. The backrest and arms are split from a straight and knot-free piece of English ash, carefully shaped and smoothed using traditional tools such as the draw knife and spokeshave. The part-finished component is then steamed for over an hour, making it pliable.

More a piece of art than just a table. This stunning sculptural table comes in a variety of woods, and three different sizes. The toughened glass circular top is held in place by the natural tension in the steam bent and twisted legs. These tables are available in small, medium or large sizes, and a dining size table is under development.
