Leather baskets with charm

Although his workshop only officially opened in 2019, Pedro Castillo had already begun to conduct research studies of different drawing and painting techniques with the master Sisto Pasacale in 2016. "From that moment, my passion for art and design coexisted with the traditional leather goods that I develop in my studio. My painting and mixed techniques are where I investigate the link between materials and the perception of materials, such as leather, ceramics and wood", says Pedro. Since then, he works on forming leather goods and painting on leather. "I consider myself an almost self-taught artist, in permanent training. My pieces are attempts because I consider that none of them are totally finished".
