Niesenglass Switzerland GmbH was founded in 2019 by Maximilian Schlott and Jan Vyskocil. The studio sits in an idyllic setting above Lake Thun, in the shadow of the Niesen mountains. Here, they offer various glass manufacturing services under one roof. Combining over 30 years of professional experience and know-how, they are able to produce a broad range of bespoke products and services to meet clients’ needs – from tableware, lamps, and sculptures to complex site-specific installation work. In addition, they design custom tools and equipment for the glass studio.

At Niesenglass, the team are always looking to develop and continue to extend their repertoire of techniques. They offer a full in-house service, supporting designers, artists and private clients throughout the process of ideation, design research, technical support and the final realisation of their ideas. The studio also offers a number of outreach and workshop options, including their mobile glass furnace experiences.
