Although Naturtex was incorporated as such in 1993, the history of the Belso family dates back to the beginning of the 20th century when the first generation, led by Cayetano Belso Oteniente, set up a small espadrille factory. However, the origin of the current company dates back to 1960 when its founder, Cayetano Belso Aznar, a member of the second generation of the family, set up a handbag manufacturing workshop. With a perfect symbiosis between tradition and innovation, Naturtex works in a process of industrial research and technological development by which, making use of different adapted technologies, as well as the artisan's hand, reaches the main objective of developing unique textile structures.

They use special materials such as steel and copper as well as certain components (ribbons, braids and ropes) used to date in the fashion sector (footwear and leather goods), all of them unpublished and improper for the textile-decoration sector. Its product spectrum ranges from carpets and rugs to textile coverings of all kinds, floors, wall coverings, ceilings, suspended objects, and even their application in furniture. Naturtex has become a reference in the interior design market. Its products are unique and special.
