Founded in 1789, the Couleuvre porcelain manufacturer is the witness of an exceptional heritage tracing the history of French decorative arts. Located in the eponymous village, in the heart of the Bourbonnais region, the factory was founded by the Marquis of Lévis, André de Sinéty on the eve of the French Revolution. Renowned for its unique know-how, notably in relief porcelain and the process of colouring transmitted over the centuries, Manufacture de Couleuvre has become a symbol of refined art of living creations.

The collections of everyday objects draw inspiration from the precious archives – tens of thousands of moulds – that reflect the spirit of each era the manufacturer has passed through. This includes pieces in the style of Louis XV, Louis XVI, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and even original creations by Jean Cocteau. Today, new owner Sophie Salager aims to give new momentum to the unique savoir-faire of the Couleuvre manufacture by proposing exceptional objects that elegantly combine secular heritage and contemporary design.
