This striking chair is handcrafted from wood. The front legs rise into the armrests and end up in the back legs. Louis Monier chose a seat lined with woollen cloth which rest on the seat’s crosspieces.

Louis Monier designed this chair so that the rear leg splits in two to form the armrests and become the front legs. The craftsman chose a blue seat made from alpaca wool to compliment the wooden chair.

Louis Monier used branching lines which offers a sculptural dimension to the handcrafted chair in solid pear wood. The rear leg of the chair is shaped in a loop which connects with the arm rests to create the backrest.

The curves of solid ash appearing from the rear legs combine to create the front leg of the three-legged solid ash chair. It is as much sculpture as chair. Louis Monier chose the cork seat to bring originality, a graphic aesthetic and comfort to his chair.

The curved legs of this three-legged solid ash chair, become the armrest. Louis Monier called the chair “Débillardo“ as an ode to its curves which change its planes in space.
