Minimalistic charm

  • • Kristýna's parents are both sculptors
  • • She also does product and interior design
  • • As a child, she loved to dismantle alarm clocks

Kristýna Malovaná's pieces look like fragments of an eternal code developed by a mathematician and a poet. She works with the precision of a scientist and the passion of an artist. Her inspiration is everywhere from architecture to smells, and she extracts its essence to create a minimalistic object. Though her works are meticulous, she has a spontaneous spirit: "I'm a very intuitive person, planning is not my cup of tea. Of course, exhibitions must be scheduled. But regarding the creation, it comes when it comes, impulses are behind every corner," she explains. And that's reflected in her collections. She looks to different inspirational sources: communication, circles on water, safety signs, women in the Wild West, planets, and much more. All resulting in a simple, functional form.

Wedding ring P and J

Movement, fusion, calmness, softness, and love are the feelings Kristýna Malovaná felt when designing these rings. Feelings that she tried to transfer to a soon-to-be wedded couple. By joining fingers, the white gold rings are joined together as one.

Necklace from Planets Collection

This collection started when Kristýna Malovaná created this piece for her friend to fit a pair of earrings from her Invisible Collection. Kristýna created a silver and pink gold necklace that would match the earrings. The small tube can be moved to create different versions to adjust to the dress and mood of the wearer.

Earring Invisible

The Invisible Collection of earrings comes in several sizes. These minimalistic earrings are a fine ornament. Kristýna originally designed them for herself to wear a discrete pair of earrings.

Collection Flash - necklace 02

The inspiration for the Flash Collection was Kristýna Malovaná's reflectors, which were introduced as mandatory equipment for a nightwalker. With a slight irony, she transformed the reflective rings that people began to wear on handbags and other accessories into jewellery. It is a minimalist collection of stainless steel jewellery, complemented by reflective fabric that glows at night.

Vortex

Kristýna observed different types of shapes of circles made out of smoke and water. They came into existence thanks to a physical phenomenon of the same name as this collection. What captivated her was their purity and their ephemerality. Their mayfly essence and their origin. The bracelets are meant to capture this volatile shape, creating an impression of invisibility through their transparency.
