This is a fine binding for a classic work of poetry. Bound in white alum-tawed skin with overlays of dark red and natural leather, it is also stamped with golden foil. The endleaves are made of plain terracotta coloured paper.

Since 2011, Ieva Rusteikaitė has been restoring old documents at Vilnius University Library and creating art books in her studio Siberiana Books in parallel. She studied Cultural History, Anthropology, and Semiotics at Vilnius University, then Conservation and Restoration at the University of Barcelona, and now she is a member of the Vilnius Bookbinders Guild. Ieva describes herself as a practitioner of 'thing-ology' – a kind of anthropology of objects, characterised by a close look at new, worn or even decayed surfaces, parts, and materials. In her bookbinding work, she fuses these together during the process of creation, to harbour all the traces of habits and everyday movements that were within the different parts. The result is a book that is both new and restored, encompassing many dimensions of content and form.

A notebook
This notebook is bound in black goatskin and glossy purple paper. It showcases original marbled edges on the book block and endleaves. The endbands are sewn to match the pattern of the marbled edge.

This is a binding for a classic text on botany. It is bound in dark green goatskin and light green mould-made paper, embossed with gilt and coloured stamps. The paste-downs are made of reversed goatskin.

This is a fine binding for a copy from the limited edition of a book of poems. It is bound in black goatskin and stamped with silver foil. The paper for the endleaves was dyed in blue layers by hand. A set includes the book, a chemise, and a slipcase.

This is the copy of a limited edition of a book of poems. It is bound in canvas painted by Spanish artist José Medina Galeote. It has a red paper dust wrapper, manually stamped with letterpress, and green endleaves.
