Brio marino, a ceramic bowl decorated with ceramic glaze and englobes, is part of Maria Giuliana Collu's Sea collection of ceramics. The theme and organic plasticity of this work opens up different interpretative paths: turquoise Mediterranean lacerations and cradles, rocks and storm surges that open the seabed to fossil traces stratified by time, as if to recall the foamy volute of waves and their circular motion.

The refined lamps of the Sea World collection are inspired by the regenerating power and the vibrant colours of the sea. The base of the lamps is crafted from ceramic decorated with glaze and engobes, and the lampshade from cream hued fabric. The sinuous contours and geometric lines define full shapes. The aquamarine blue, the bright white and the infinite iridescences blend to give life to a handcrafted representation of Sardinian beaches.

The white of the material and the delicate ornaments that caress the contours recall the image of a bride looking into the mirror one last time.

This handcrafted earthenware bowl is inspired by imagery of sea urchins. On the bottom of the sea, fragments of sea urchins settle. Drained of their vital pulp, they welcome tangles of algae and emerald iridescences. The surviving quills, once moving stilts, have become the peduncles of a precious cradle lying on a timeless backdrop.
