This circular decorative fibre frame symbolises the central star of the Milky Way, the sun. This piece has been produced by means of a union technique as well as by working the fibres manually. When dry, esparto grass fibres have a gold like tonality. Gabriela de Sagarminaga begins the creation of a central wooden structure, winding the esparto grass around the entire radius of the piece.
