This 18ct gold ring is part of Els Vansteelandt’s Hold The Line collection. Els Vansteelandt started this collection fascinated by the variety, structure and aesthetic beauty of the wrought-iron balcony railings in Andalusia. Her goal was to translate those fluid lines into her work and to create jewellery crafted in one rolling, curling line, without interruption, from beginning to end.

Nature is an important source of inspiration to Els Vansteelandt’s work. As such, seed pods has led her to the creation of this pair of hand shaped gold earring. To suggest lightness and fragility she milled 22k gold until it was wafer thin, in doing so the earrings also become comfortable to wear by their lightness.
