The joy of clay

Elaine Fallon studied at the Design & Crafts Council Ireland’s Ceramics Skills course. After a number of years teaching ceramics, she set up Brookwood Pottery in Dublin. At the studio she designs and makes a range of ceramic products in porcelain stoneware. She uses a rich selection of underglazes applied with brush and sponge to create her distinctive designs. Fallon is generous, and wants to share the joy of working with clay with everyone. She offers a range of workshops for the public, as well as, making her studio home to a number of resident potters who use the space on a monthly basis to create their own work. The studio shop sells Brookwood products and work from other Irish makers.
