The Caldera table is a round dining table with a diameter of 150 cm. It is made of layers of plywood glued one on top of another to create a straight column shape that expands into a tabletop. The table has irregular, vertical openings passing through the centre.

Digital technology meets art

Growing up in a creative family, Cyryl Zakrzewski felt a strong connection to art since early childhood. He developed an interest in sculpting during his studies at the University of Arts in Poznan, Poland, and picked up furniture and wood craftsmanship after his graduation in 2011. Since then, his style has evolved to combine traditional wood carving with digital processing. In his projects he often uses both generative design, CAD and CNC techniques with sculptural craftsmanship. His work can be seen both in his hometown in Poland, as well as in Japan and Slovenia.

Nexus table
This is a sculptural round table with a glass tabletop. The base is made from vertically placed layers of birch plywood to create an organically looking three-leg support. The shape is inspired by the way the roots of a tree connect and intersect.

Nexus sideboard
The Nexus sideboard is made from birch plywood. A simple, rectangle storage part is supported by three asymmetrical sculptural legs in a more fluid, organic shape.
