For the avid reader, the bedside reading cabinet integrates a bookshelf into the wild Irish ash top. Underneath is a tray for storing everyday bits and pieces and below this a spacious drawer. The cabinet's back leg is a reading lamp, which is fully adjustable and can be used as both an up light and down light. The switch is easily accessible at the back of this leg. The cabinet is made from beautiful wild Irish ash and high-quality birch multiply. The finish is a hardwearing, natural, hand rubbed oil.

Sustainable wooden furniture

Colin Harris has a background in engineering, following on from which he studied furniture making at the renowned Parnham College in Dorset, England. He spent a number of years working in sustainable design for international furniture studios before returning to Ireland to set up his own studio in 2015. He combines a head for design with craft skills to create his furniture. He is passionate about using native hardwoods such as wild Irish ash, oak, birch and sycamore, which he sources from a local sawmill which produces using sustainable methods. From these materials he creates timeless pieces that tell a story of local, wild, simplicity, showing off the exquisite beauty of wood.

Puzzle table
The puzzle table II uses a Japanese joint to form the three-dimensional cross for the table’s base. The legs are made from solid maple and the tabletop is made of toughened safety glass. Three holes are drilled into the glass to secure the top to the base.

Slatted chair
The slatted chair is designed for comfortable home or restaurant dining. The curve of each slat is the same, yet they are positioned on the chair frame to provide a double curve for both the back and seat of the chair. The double curve supports the back comfortably and the double seat curve is sprung using nylon seat bars to adapt to the shape of the diner, giving a very comfortable seating experience.

Spiral floor lamp
The cable of the spiral floor lamp is contained within and simply spirals down and outwards to form the base. There is a switch at the lamp holder and the optional shade is available in various sizes and colours. The spiral floor lamp is made from wild Irish ash or ebonised European oak. The wild Irish ash is sustainably sourced from a sawmill in Co. Wicklow.

Trigonon low table
Designed for smaller living spaces, the flop flip table consists of two identical leg components. One is flipped over and simply slotted together to form the base of the table. The toughened safety glass top has three brass pins that lock the table together and also serve as the hook. Simply hang it on your wall when you need that extra space. The table is handmade in beautiful wild Irish ash and finished with a hardwearing, natural, hand rubbed oil. The glass is toughened safety glassmaking it safe to handle.
