Umbrella with shaft and handle made from a single piece of maple bentwood. The small size (eight ribs measuring 61cm each) and limited weight makes it ideal for a feminine clientele. The ultralight, turquoise jacquard fabric is decorated with a romantic embroidery of an aeroplane drawing some small hearts. Ribs and finishings in golden steel.

Carlo Suino's craft is an endangered one. In the last few decades the huge availability of cheap, low quality umbrellas has taken over the market. Yet, an umbrella is a sign of elegance and distinction, that can be handcrafted with utmost attention both to style and to performance, and can last a lifetime. Thanks to the exceptional knowledge gathered by his family, and to his own skills, curiosity and scrupulousness, Carlo's creations are unrivaled. His clients have access to a large variety of finished creations in the shop or they can choose materials, styles, shapes to receive a bespoke one. If they are looking for something new and different, Carlo will always find a way to make it.

Khaki Umbrella
A medium-sized, masculine umbrella with a ten-rib structure. The handle is in dark brown maplewood, decorated with carvings, while the shaft is in beechwood. The fabric has different colours on the two sides: the inner part is khaki while the outside is dark coffee.

Iridescent umbrella
A small, feminine umbrella made of ultralight jacquard fabric in a heather colour, with an Iridescent effect. Classical octagonal shape, with very thin shaft in metal and handle in maplewood with rose and polished finishings.

Red umbrella
A medium-sized, feminine umbrella with a eight-rib structure. The handle and the shaft are made out of a unique piece of maplewood with natural finishing. The jacquard ultralight fabric is ladybug red, with a translucent effect.

Tartan umbrella
The Presidential model is the largest umbrella available, with a diameter of 127 cm from tip to tip. It’s a masculine model, with the shaft and handle made out of a single piece of smoked maplewood, ribs made of steel and brass finishing. The fabric has a medium weight and a Kilmarnock tartan design.
