In praise of the essential

  • • Ana and David work together to make mixed material jewellery
  • • In 2015 they founded Dsnú, their joint jewellery studio
  • • They are inspired by nature and the combination of different materials

Both Ana Martínez and David De Felipe share an academic background in artistic disciplines, which led them to designing and making jewellery together. A dynamic duo, they each master different techniques. Ana specialises in handmaking jewellery pieces and David in ceramics, painting and sculpture. As a result, their creations combine the use of metal and porcelain. Inspired by nature and its colours, architecture and the Mediterranean, Dsnú jewellery echoes a design aiming at the essential with a timeless inner character. They consider themselves designers and makers, from their studio and haven in the Madrid Sierra.
