This unusual decorative silver box is crafted from a varnished coconut placed on a sterling silver base. The box was inspired by collections of Meraviglie, objects of wonder created during the Italian Renaissance. Silverwork and pink tourmaline gemstones transform the coconut into a zoomorphic object; its different parts are fixed by pins and screws and can be dismantled.

The calyx of a flower was one of the inspirations for the shape of this goblet, which represents the Bowl of Hygieia, one of the symbols of pharmacies. Two menacing snakes, their tails tangled at the base of the goblet, protect the opening. The snakes are considered to symbolize healing.

This imposing centrepiece is part of Tommaso’s Bosco (Woodland) collection. It takes the form of a silver tree supporting in its branches a large crystal bowl. Several forest animals are gathered at the base of the tree, as if part of a fairy story.

Part of Tommaso’s “Grifone” collection, this bowl shaped like the mythological griffin can be used to hold flowers or small items of food such as cakes or chocolates. The two salt cellars can be moved around the table as required.

Clinging to a mother of pearl Nautilus shell, the silver lion seems to hang on by digging in its teeth. The structure is held up by a silver stem supported by a silver scallop shell base. The decorative cup was inspired by the Meraviglie, objects of wonder, created during the Italian Renaissance.
