The Bayleaf table, designed with subtle textures and thoughtful details, is made by hand in Sebastian’s south-east London workshop using ebonised English oak, brass pins and traditional timber frame construction joints.

Subtle textures and thoughtful details are the hallmarks of Sebastian’s designs, handmade in his south-east London workshop. The armoire combines London plane, woven English sycamore and drawn glass and features neat brass pins. The curved sliding screen of the sideboard was woven from English ash, and the cabinet and shelves in English tiger oak enhance its beauty. The armoire uses traditional timber frame construction joints and provides ample storage space with shelves, four solid drawers and a hanging rail.

A single spectacular board of London plane was used to make the distinctive table top, which stands on a pedestal base made of English ash. Part of the Editions collection, only a limited number of these tables are produced by Sebastian’s south-east London workshop.

The stool is made from well-managed crops of English ash and hand-coppiced Kentish hazel, kept in the round. The legs were hand-hewn with an axe to a tapering point, revealing the white hazel wood beneath the bark. Each leg has been neatly wedged, making the stool strong and light.
