These wedding rings reflect Eglė’s appreciation of the Earth and her concerns about the environment, depicting not only a union between two people but between humans and nature as well. The texture, created by printing tree bark and leaves onto the gold, was designed to evoke the human connection with, and dependence on, the natural world.

By creating intuitively, Eglė Čėjauskaitė-Gintalė is able to make work that is extraordinarily human. With her works, Eglė aims to makes us feel that we are all the continuation of our ancestors, and impress upon us the importance of keeping in touch with the land where we grew up and the people who shaped us.

This well balanced piece of jewellery was made to depict the idea of abundance. Oats were used for the pendants as an allusion to the daily bread needed to sustain physical and spiritual life, a symbol of holiness and gratitude since ancient times.

In Lithuania, being born 'in a silver shirt' is synonymous with wealth and privilege. Eglė designed this silver pendant as a symbol of luck, expressing her belief that anyone can create their own silver shirt and unveil their whole potential.

Webs of Thoughts brooches
The Webs of Thoughts brooches were finely handcrafted by intertwining threads of gold and silver, which were then filled with gemstones. The basket-like shape was designed to create small repositories for good and bad emotions.
