These pieces are part of a series, Cartodendrometria, in which Daniele crafts morphological designs from strips of paper from magazines and newspapers, binding them tightly together to create a structure resembling the rings of a tree trunk. Each piece is unique, with different types of paper selected for each one, numbered and signed.

This installation, created for the solo exhibition METAMORFOSI held in Martina Franca, Apulia in 2014, was mounted directly on the floor of the Palazzo Ducale. Thousands of strips of cardboard were combined to create an illusion of a flowing and rippling dark blue lake.

Fashioned from recyclable, biodegradable, eco-compatible card, these bowls are intended for use as tableware. The sheets are cut, folded and embedded to create three-dimensional objects in a manner similar to origami.

These two red lamellar mushroom-like structures are composed of fine strips of red vinyl fitted over cylinders of metal and glass. The superimposed layers provide a highly tactile experience. Each structure is a unique creation, numbered and signed.
