The Devon Guild of Craftsmen is a charity for craft education founded in 1955 and encompasses three galleries, a shop and a café. To date, it has around 300 members who are all based in the South West of the UK and have all undergone a rigorous selection process. The shop offers a great variety of crafts, exclusively made by their members, ranging from handwoven rugs to tableware, jewellery, leather accessories and many more. The Guild chose a historic spot to house the shop and the gallery spaces – Riverside Mill. It is a Grade II Listed building which dates back to 1854, and has had different uses over the centuries, it features a distinctive water tower with wheel.
