On the edge of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, stands the Devon Guild of Craftsmen. It was founded in 1955 by a small group of craft enthusiasts looking to promote the best regional craftwork. In 1986, the Guild purchased Riverside Mill, which now houses a shop, café and three exhibition galleries. The Devon Guild of Craftsmen today stages around 20 exhibitions each year. Wandering through the Mill, visitors will find a wide range of handmade craft items produced by members of the Guild.

The collection evolves alongside the work of the makers, meaning each visit to the Devon Guild of Craftsmen is a unique one. The three exhibition spaces expose the finest local contemporary craft and a full programme of workshops accompanies each exhibition. The workshops explore the themes, crafts and allow visitors to experience the making of a unique craft item.
