Visit to the Maurizio Donzelli Solo Show

The work of the artist Maurizio Donzelli is focused on some turning points: the unavoidable presence of the observer, the relationship between light and colour, the practice of drawing as an intellectual and technical instrument. His works are developed in different cycles. Donzelli experiments with various materials and techniques, try to go deeper and deeper, to offer the public (considered as co-author of his works) the infinite potential of evocation, rooted in the dynamics of time and history, spinning off into distant geographies. The show will include drawings, mirrors and tapestries.

Marignana Arte

Contemporary art

Exploring the various languages of contemporary artEmanuela Fadalti and Matilde Cadenti opened their art gallery Marignana Arte in Venice in 2013. The gallery is located in the Sestiere of Dorsoduro, between the Grand Canal and the Giudecca Canal, a key area for art exhibitions which is historically considered the hub of contemporary art in Venice, where the greatest outcomes of the artistic avant-gardes of the city were born. It’s very conveniently placed among the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the spaces of Punta della Dogana, hosting the Pinault Collection and many art shows, and the Vedova Foundation. The program of the gallery is focused on the contemporary art research, exploring the diverse languages of the most recent developments, working both with new generations and with internationally acclaimed artists. Marignana Arte is also involved in international collaborations that include the realisation of projects with private and public institutions.
