“Building on tradition is looking to the future”: Marta Sala Éditions at Caigo da Mar

Marta Sala Éditions, exclusive brand of luxury furniture, lighting and accessories, was created by Marta Sala in 2015. Mixing Italian tradition of craftsmanship and design culture, Marta Sala Éditions offers the quality of custom-made unique pieces in items that can be reproduced in quantity. Marta was born in Milan and grew up into one of the most iconic families of the Italian design: her mother Maria Teresa Tosi and her uncle Luigi Caccia Dominioni were co-founders of the celebrated Azucena. From the beginning, Marta has collaborated with the duo of architects Lazzarini&Pickering. A selection of Marta Sala Éditions items will be displayed at Caigo da Mar during Homo Faber in Città.

Design

Caigo da MarSusanna Haapala-Cargnel and Riccardo Cargnel founded their gallery Caigo da Mar in early 2010 in the heart of the historical center of Venice, in the beautiful San Samuele Area. They wanted to create a space where to gather a collection of artistic items respectful of hight artisanal craftmanship. Their product selection process always keeps in mind the hand made quality, functionally and luxuriousness which combined give a strong visual impact such a custom made Murano glass lighting Venetian mirrors and Italian furniture for private clients, architects and interior designers all over the world. The gallery also features artists and artisans from varied fields like ceramics, art, glass and design. Their aim is to promote Made in Italy quality.
