Discover tin as a working material

2 hours Max 4 people10,000 JPY

The workshop will start with the explanation of the properties of tin, along with Shota Suzuki showing some of his work and the objects that can be created by manipulating metal. Tin is a relatively soft metal, compared to gold and silver. It does not oxidise easily and has antibacterial properties that make it perfect for everyday use. With minimal colour change, tin holds its beautiful luster for a long time. In this workshop, participants will work with a tin plate and use mallets and stamps. Enjoy making your own vessel with your own original patterns. The workshop is accessible to anyone and requires no prior experience.
