Discover two weaving techniques

16 hours Max 4 people250 euros per person

Visit Elena Sueri in her handweaving and tailor's atelier, a converted mill full of fascinating machinery from the past: looms, spinning wheels and many more. There you will learn the basics of weaving, trying your hand at spinning natural fibres into yarn and getting a taste of the preliminary stages of dress-making. The workshop lasts 8 hours and is divided into two parts. Each one can be taken independently from the other. The first is dedicated to using the spinning wheel for spinning silk, wool, cotton and canvas. The second focuses on spinning on a drop spindle. All the drop spindles used during classes are handmade by Elena, who’ll give one to each student as a souvenir of the experience.
