The handmade glazed porcelain vase was born out of the fragility of porcelain and the craftsmanship of Ginori 1735 artisans. By skilfully combining kintsugi, the ancient Japanese art of repairing broken porcelain objects, and the typically Tuscan gold leaf technique, Ginori 1735 transformed a damaged piece into a precious work of art. Ginori 1735 artisans repaired the cracks of Vaso con Pavoni with 24-carat pure gold leaf, giving the vase a new life and an enhanced look through the golden "scars".
