This pair of wooden wings are made out of bended walnut veneer and pine, mounted on a walnut base. The feathers have been individually hand cut, then glued in place and varnished. They are mostly made out of recycled wood which would otherwise go to landfill. The piece appears to almost burst out of the walls. The wings reflect the freedom and grace of birds, inspired by the birdlife in Stokkseyri, Iceland.
