The handcrafted ostrich-egg cup is mounted on oyster shells with a base plinth of cleaved mica. The stand is encrusted with uncut gemstones, saturated blue chalcanthite and rich purple tschermigite crystals, and polished antique red corals. The cup is decorated with six cabochons of moss agate and beach coral. The frames and the rim are edged with 97 Bohemian garnets.
